Please read from Top to Bottom. It is a short read.
I am going to make another power point for eagle AM.
Basically, it will say that the last three meetings will be every Tuesday on May 12, May 26, and on June 9. It will also mention ideas for logo designs for T-Shirts and other interesting events we can do before the year ends. There will be a separate commercial for the Piefest.
If you have any ideas for T-Shirt logo designs or events/places to go for the remainder of the year, email it to me and/or present it to the next meeting on:
Tuesday, May 12, 2009
From 2:15pm-4:00pm
I will personally type up a sheet of notes for the topics I am going to talk about next meeting and make copies so that the members will understand the topics at hand. I will do my best to keep the speech down to a minimum (5-10 minutes).
Speaking about the Piefest.
Ever wanted to pie somebody in the face, but never was given the chance? Why not end the 2008-09 school year with just that; pieing somebody (a comedy club member, a friend, a teacher, etc) in the face.
The LHS Comedy Club is sponsoring a Piefest on:
Friday, May 22, 2009
@ Princess Ann Park
From 2:30pm-5:00pm
In case you don't know where Princess Ann Park is, it is right next to/behind the Sentara Hospital. It's walking distance from the school, so you will be saving a few ozone molecules if participants and spectators just walk there.
You can have the chance to pie Comedy Club members in the face, INCLUDING THE PRESIDENT. I will not say his name, because I am sure all of you already know it.
If you want to pie and be pied by your friends, then bring them along. If you want to pie a teacher or other LHS Staff, then simply get them to volunteer for it.
The Comedy Club has not decided for the price of a Regular Whip Cream pie (simply a pie tin filled with whip cream), but it will probably be affordable on nearly any student budget (around $2-3 per pie). There may be some other snacks/refreshments (chips, cookies, soda, etc.) There will also be an auction near the end for Real Crust Pie (most likely pumpkin or apple) to pie a participant with. The highest bidder gets the pie.
This is all of the information about the event that I know so far. If you need additional information, then contact a Comedy Club member. Spread the word about this piefest in your classes. The more people that arrive, the better this will be.
Did everybody receive the two pictures I sent out to all the members? If not, than email me and I will remail them to you. [Shaneyfelt] I was wondering if it would be possible to put the two images we took into the school yearbook? Or is it too late?
All recipients please reply to this message so that I know that you actually read it. Officers also please reply to this email.
